What cookies and local storage are
Cookies and similar technologies can store or read information in a browser. This website also uses local storage for preferences and demonstration state.
Some storage is necessary for requested functionality. Other storage, such as optional analytics, should load only after the appropriate consent.
Essential storage
Essential storage may preserve theme, language, currency display, time-zone preference, consent decision, navigation state, form progress, scheduler state, and security-related functionality.
Disabling essential storage can reduce functionality or require preferences to be entered again.
Optional analytics
With consent, Chatoner may use analytics to understand page views, routes, CTA clicks, module interest, form completion, resource downloads, booking flow, ROI calculator completion, performance, and drop-off.
Analytics should not intentionally receive personal form content, private messages, credentials, payment information, assessment answers, safeguarding data, or other sensitive information.
Third-party scripts and embeds
Production deployments may use approved analytics, video, calendar, payment, chat, social, or other third-party services. Each provider may set its own storage and process information under its terms.
Chatoner should maintain a current vendor and cookie inventory, test consent behavior, block optional scripts before consent where required, and update this policy when providers change.
Managing preferences
Visitors can choose Essential only or Allow analytics in the cookie banner. A production preference center should allow users to revisit or withdraw optional consent.
Browser settings may also block or delete storage, but doing so can affect site behavior.
Retention and contact
Retention depends on the technology and purpose. Session storage may expire when the browser closes; preference and consent records may persist longer. Analytics providers may have separate retention settings that must be configured.
Questions can be sent to info@chatoner.com. This policy should be reviewed with qualified counsel and updated after a production cookie scan.
Run a production cookie and tracker scan after hosting, analytics, scheduling, video, payment, chat, and marketing tools are configured. This template does not replace jurisdiction-specific legal review.
